Clay Skonord is a Water Level Technician and Shop Technician who Joined JOA in 2025. Prior to joining JOA Clay has three years of experience on USCG vessels in Alaska and Oregon. At JOA Clay assists with water leveling and shop work. Clay’s favorite work location is Southeast, Alaska. Outside work, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and backpacking. He once spent a month island-hopping through Hawaii with nothing but a backpack and local tips—no GPS, just old-school adventure.
