Cody Littleton is a Physical Scientist and Scuba Diver who joined JOA in 2025. Cody brings over seven years of experience maintaining and repairing coastal observing sensors. At JOA he leads field crews that support and sustain long-term coastal observing stations. Prior to joining JOA, Cody worked in a variety of remote and coastal locations, with his favorite sites being Midway Atoll, Port Canaveral, and Scripps Pier. Passionate about the ocean and the outdoors, He spends his free time scuba diving, snowboarding, and backpacking. Cody once explored the Sierra backcountry with just a hammock and camp stove and backpacked Europe for two months without a cellphone.
