Jay Scrimshaw is a Shop Electronics Specialist with more than 40 years of experience. Jay earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering (1993) from Washington State University. He joined JOA in 2024, bringing expertise in alternative off-grid power systems, high-power radio frequency broadcasting, and electronic testing and measurement. Jay prefers assignments in remote corners of Alaska. In his free time, he explores the Washington State Alpine Lakes Wilderness, where he has backpacked to over 100 lakes. He enjoys riding ATVs, fishing, and tinkering with electronics.
